The purpose of the Personal Data Protection Policy (hereinafter: Policy) is to familiarise Subscribers, Users and other persons (hereinafter: Individuals) with the purposes and legal basis of the processing of personal data by STEKLARNA HRASTNIK d.o.o., Cesta 1. maja 14, 1430 Hrastnik (hereinafter: processor or company) and the rights of Individuals in this area.

At the same time, this Policy further clarifies the consent to data processing.

In accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council dated 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: General Data Protection Regulation), Personal Data Protection Act (Official Journal of the Republic of Slovenia, no. 86/2004, with amendments, henceforth: ZVOP-1) and Person Data Protection Policy dated 25/5/2018, the Policy includes the following information:

  • contact information of the company and the contact of the authorised person for data protection;
  • purposes, bases and types of processing of various types of personal data of Individuals, including profiling of personal data of Individuals;
  • transmission of data to third parties and to third countries;
  • retention time of individual types of personal data;
  • rights of Individuals in relation to the processing of personal data;
  • right to lodge a complaint in relation to the processing of personal data.

Where applicable, the provisions relating to Individuals also apply to issues of secrecy and confidentiality of communications of users who are legal entities.

This Privacy Policy specify how STEKLARNA HRASTNIK d.o.o., Cesta 1. maja 14, 1430 Hrastnik

(hereinafter: HRASTNIK1860) obtains, stores and uses your personal data. The effective date of this Privacy Policy is 1 August 2023.

This Privacy Policy applies for: (i) using our website www.hrastnik1860.com (hereinafter: website), (ii) signing up for notifications about news and our service offer, (iii) notifications via our social channels and applications, (iv) online store registration and (v) your use of any other, present or future, online or offline Services (hereinafter all from (i) to (v): Services).

This Privacy Policy applies to our users, i.e. the natural persons who use our Services (hereinafter: Users), and for legal entities that are engaged in economic activity (hereinafter: Legal entities).

How are your personal data obtained, used and otherwise processed?

We obtain your personal data when you provide them to us, for example through your use of our Services, when you contact us directly by email, telephone, in writing or through social media, through which you provide us with personal data. Where permitted by law, we may also obtain information about you from other sources.

  3. For statistical and research purposes. We will anonymise the data and use them for the legitimate interests in processing personal data for the research purposes, including market research, better understanding of our customers and adapting our products and services to your needs.
  4. For advertising purposes and with your consent for e-advertising purposes, to inform you about our services, news, organisation of events, to determine customer satisfaction and to offer you our services and other forms of e-advertising.

Retention of personal data and period of processing

HRASTNIK1860 stores your personal data on its own servers located in Slovenia and servers of cloud service providers located in EU member states and the USA. From time to time, your personal data may also be processed outside the EU and the USA.

HRASTNIK1860 will process your personal data to the extent that is relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed. This includes, for example, whether it is necessary to continue to keep these data in order to be able to continue to fulfil our obligations under the contract with you or for our legitimate interests; whether we have any legal obligation to continue to process your data, such as any record keeping obligations imposed by applicable tax and accounting legislation; and whether we have a legal basis to continue to process your personal data, such as your consent.

What are cookies and why are they necessary?

International personal data transfers

Rights of data subjects

  • request your personal data that you have provided to us (we will provide it to you in a structured and machine-readable format, e.g. in an Excel spreadsheet), and you have the right to transfer this personal data to another personal data controller;
  • object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes (for more information, see the section below “Your right to object to the processing of your personal data for certain purposes”);
  • withdraw your consent to our use of your personal data, where we rely on your consent. If you withdraw it, this will not affect the lawfulness of our use and processing of your personal data based on your consent before the day you withdraw it.
