The session of the Section for Environment and Energy of the ZGZ at HRASTNIK1860 shed light on current sustainable practices

A session of the Zasavje Chamber of Commerce’s Environment and Energy Section was held today at Steklarna Hrastnik, focusing on sustainable reporting and new obligations under the OMNUBIS I package. The event concluded with a guided tour of the glass production.

Antonija Božič Cerar, Director of the Climate, Environment and Energy Department at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presented the key changes in the OMNUBIS I legislative package and their impact on companies. This was followed by a presentation of good practices in the field of sustainability reporting, prepared by Lucija Senčar and Tilen Sever from Vaider’s HRASTNIK1860.

After the session and fruitful discussion, the participants went on a tour of glass production, where they also learned, from a practical perspective, how sustainable principles and initiatives in glassmaking are implemented.
