From 2015 until now, the Chamber has been chaired by Mag. Tomaž Berginc, Managing Director of ETI Elektroelement. Mag. Mag. Peter Čas took over the management of Steklarna Hrastnik in August 2017. Under his leadership, Steklarna Hrastnik has significantly increased its overall revenue and performance indicators. A key role in the success was also played by the outstanding investments in production, the focus on the packaging programme, digitalisation and, above all, sustainability. In autumn 2022, Steklarna Hrastnik also acquired the SFS Paraćin glass factory in Serbia through its owner GlobalGlass from Switzerland.
Mag. Peter Čas: »I am honoured to have been entrusted with the position of President. Building on the work of our predecessors, together with our team, we will do our utmost to ensure that future generations in Zasavje will be able to enjoy even greater coexistence between the economy and the local environment.
