We are looking for a professional and development-oriented individual to lead the department for maintenance of machines and equipment and actively contribute to the development of technological solutions and the reliability of production processes in the glass industry.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading, organizing, and developing the maintenance department while ensuring efficient preventive and corrective maintenance,
- Supporting the professional development of team members,
- Ensuring high technical reliability of production machinery,
- Preparing annual department plans and monitoring costs,
- Introducing new technologies and continuously optimizing processes to improve quality, OEE, and energy consumption,
- Strategically planning and managing investments in production machinery and equipment (from preparation to implementation),
- Managing relationships with suppliers of technological equipment and conducting technical and cost analyses of offers,
- Collaborating with development, engineering, production, and quality departments in the introduction of complex products and ensuring stable production processes.
Candidate requirements:
- At least a Level VI or VII technical degree (mechanical engineering or a related field),
- Several years of experience in maintenance within a manufacturing environment (preferably in process industries),
- Experience in team and project management,
- Knowledge of investment processes and technical analyses,
- Strategic thinking and process optimization skills,
- Proactive mindset, analytical thinking, and strong organizational skills,
- Active knowledge of English.
