We are looking for a precise, responsible, and development-oriented professional to join our expert team in the field of glass technology, laboratory analyses, quality assurance, and compliance with legislation and standards. Join our team as a GLASS TECHNOLOGIST!
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- supervising glass batch preparation processes (delivery planning and monitoring raw material inventories) and glass melting processes,
- controlling glass quality, monitoring melting parameters, and performing chemical and physical analyses,
- adjusting glass batch recipes according to melting conditions and production requirements,
- archiving and disposing of collected samples,
- ensuring regular maintenance and proper operation of laboratory instruments and equipment in accordance with operating instructions,
- maintaining records, preparing analyses, and compiling reports in line with process requirements,
- preparing reports in accordance with prescribed standards and relevant legislation,
- monitoring compliance with environmental legislation and regulations related to hazardous substances,
- monitoring and implementing activities related to chemical legislation (REACH),
- participating in supplier and customer audits, as well as environmental and hazardous substance inspections,
- ensuring safe and compliant work practices within the scope of responsibility.
What we expect:
- university degree (Level VII) in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Chemistry, or a related field,
- good computer skills, especially in MS Office,
- knowledge of English and/or another foreign language,
- precision, analytical thinking, responsibility, and teamwork skills.
