HRASTNIK1860 Hosts German Ambassador to Slovenia

Hrastnik, 10 June 2026 – HRASTNIK1860, a member of the Vaider Group, hosted the German Ambassador to Slovenia, Sylvia Groneick, who was accompanied by Natalie Šeruga from the German Embassy and the President of the Slovenian-German Chamber of Commerce, Dr Gabriele Rose.

The visit was aimed at getting to know the company, its development plans, and exchanging views on the challenges and opportunities in the industry. Christian Fröba, CEO of Vaider Group and HRASTNIK1860, presented the key strategic directions and development projects of the company, followed by a tour of the production facilities.

The delegation learned about the advanced technological solutions that Steklarna Hrastnik uses in the production of premium glass packaging. The discussion also covered the challenges facing European industry and opportunities for further strengthening the company’s presence in the German market. Special emphasis was placed on sustainable development, innovation, and international cooperation.

The visit provided an opportunity to exchange views on the development of the industry and to strengthen economic cooperation between Slovenia and Germany.
